Rooster with a Pocket Watch belongs to the Allegories series, in which the master craftspeople of Olmart House have imbued animals with human characteristics. Filled with warmth and good humor, these artworks are created in an edition of one.
This work is made of mammoth ivory and ebony combined with gold, silver and amber. The tusk of the mammoth has been finished using the techniques of burning and toning.
