A very small percentage can be kept in a condition suitable for sculpture manufacturing. The Olmart House uses mammoth ivory of superior quality only.

Sheep in a Chair belongs to the Allegories series, in which the master craftspeople of Olmart House have imbued animals with human characteristics. Filled with warmth and good humor, these artworks are created in an edition of one.
This work is made of mammoth ivory and finished with ebony wood and gold. The ivory has been perfected using the techniques of burning and toning.
