According to the Eastern calendar, each year has its own animal symbol. Numbering twelve in total, they form a cycle that has been repeating for the past four thousand years. At Olmart House we have taken the decision to honor the transience of time by capturing all these symbols in a limited series in which, through the course of each year, we create just 12 silver figurines devoted to the symbol of the year that is to follow.
Every piece is cast of sterling silver and branded with an individual number. Each passing year presents the opportunity to acquire a new precious-metal sculpture, eventually leading to a unique collection of all 12 animals, whose value will grow with each generation of your family through which it is passed down.
